Currency

The currency is the Jamaican dollar (JMD) or the American dollar. Most of ABMs accept international debit cards displaying Visa, MasterCard, Cirrus or Plus logos. Credit cards are widely accepted.

Staying Connected

Cell Phones – be sure to check with your supplier before leaving to set up an international plan
Wi-Fi – resorts typically have Wi-Fi (will let them know if there’s does and if there is a cost)

Tipping

At an all-inclusive resort tipping is not mandatory as it is included in your pricing.  It is always recommend that you tip for a high level of service or if you would like extras to be accommodated.  Some little extra goes along way.
